7/11 and the aftermath

The 7/11 blasts shook the nation. The Business capital of the country comes to terms with reality. It has always been the most preferred destination for the Terrorist attacks. A week after the attacks life’s back to normalcy. For the families of those who died or injured, it will not be easy to return back to normalcy.

Many people believe that India is a soft state. I am not making apolitical statement but Indian government should wake up and make India's presence felt in the subcontinent. What the international community must understand is that Indian life’s don’t come cheap. India has maintained restrain for so long, but this restrain should not be misunderstood for weakness. India’s neighbors need to act tough on the terrorists operation out of their countries. It will be easy for India to flex the muscle (like Israel) and use the military option but difficult to sit and negotiate.

Israeli warplanes continued to batter Lebanon and at least 31 people have been killed since Tuesday in the attacks, converting Lebanon into heaps of rubble and the international community looks on. Typical example of double standards by the west.
